Current News Releases: 31st January, 2011: Scientific Solutions announces distribution link with Zeta Instruments: Scientific Solutions are extremely excited about the distrubution agreement for Australia and New Zealand forged with Zeta Instruments, CA, USA in the last few days. Zeta Instruments chose Scientific Solutions to discuss distribution last year, and after exhaustive research, Scientific Solutions staff agreed that the products offered by Zeta Instruments were not only the best value for money available, but were also the best available due to the patented Z-DotTM technology. This technology provides 10 times better resolution and enhanced speed over standard optical systems. Zeta Instruments Zeta-20 and Zeta-200 instruments feature both Metrology and 3D Imaging capability, with application areas in every aspect of Microelectronics, including Solar Cells, MEMS, Biotech, Lasers/HBLED, Microlfuidics, Life Sciences, Precision Polishing and many more. This is truly a remarkable range of products for anyone who wants to see what is there without endangering the sample morphology and the results by contact, vacuum or other physical means. These instruments use a pressure to exert a force on one side of a sample and the resultant flow of a liquid or gas through the material is measured. The method is already covered by ASTM methods, D6767, E128, F316 and several others, so relevance in absolute terms is assurred. If you're attempting to determine the mechanism of your electrochemical reaction, DigiElch 6 Electrochemical Simulation Software from Elchsoft is the answer. DigiElch 6 brings a number of unique features to electrochemical simulation software. From exact 2-D simulation of band and disk microelectrodes to modeling surface adsorption using a Frumkin isotherm, DigiElch6 can simulate a wide range of systems. On the computational front, DigiElch 6 brings support for multicore CPUs for more efficient calculations and an adaptive grid algorithm for smoother concentration profiles. Simply, they give the client the choice of which features they require from an instrument of this type. The flexibility could not be more extensive. Choices include the number of sample ports, the type of degassing, if degassing is separate from the analsyis manifold or not, and what level of vacuum is required on analysis and degassing ports - all are at the clients request. In addition, there are Mass Spectrometer choices (from 2, external or internal), Calorimeter, TCD detector and Chemisorption options. Along with the high sensitivity gained through the Dewar lift and sample cell transducers, the NIST verified DFT kernels rounds off the best package and choice of options in this science.
