15th September, 2008: Quantachrome releases new Pycnometer capability:
Quantachrome Instruments have released the new Ultrapycnometer 1200e, a significant upgrade on the already powerful Ultrapycnometer 1000. The Ultrapycnometer 1200e features direct operation and also new, direct PC communication sofware fully integrated into the unit. The new capability is called PycWeb and the user can run the instrument through a standard web browser, ethernet or USB port. The instrument has also had an internal makeover, continuing the position at the forefront of true density measurement by pycnometry.

28th August, 2008: Dr. Tom Tiwald from JA Woollam Inc to install Australia's most capable Ellipsometer at the Australian National Fabrication Facility:
Scientific Solutions is proud to announce the sale, delivery and installation of Australia's largest and most capable Ellipsometry facility at ANFF in Brisbane. The J A Woollam Vacuum Ultra-Violet Variable Angle Spectroscopic Ellipsometer (VUV-VASE) Gen II version is capable of film thickness and optical property measurements in the range of 140nm to 1700nm. The VUV-VASE is fitted with both R-Theta and X-Y translation stages for flexibility in measuring single or multiple substrates from a few millimeters to 300mm. The faclity is now operational and available for those wishing to take advantage of the incredible capabilities of this instrument. 12th June, 2008: KSV Instruments releases New generaton Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) instrument:

4th April, 2008: Scientific Solutions releases new versions of Quantachrome Quadrasorb Surface Area and Pore Size Distribution Analyser:
Scientfic Solutions is happy to announce the release of new versions of the poular QuadrasorbSI Surface Area and Pore Size Distribution Analyser in Australia and New Zealand. The Quadrasorb instrument has 4 independent analysis ports each of which can be loaded and unloaded without affecting any of the other ports. The new instruments are 2 and 3 port versions having the same capability, but with the ability to upgrade to more ports in the future. This means a client can take advantage of a high level instrument for a moderate cost and upgrade to higher throughput for minimal cost any time in the future.

The Quadrasorb comes in both standard "anygas" configuration, or for Micropore and Krypton analysis using a turbo pump driven vacuum system

30th June, 2006: Scientific Solutions announces distribution agreement with JA Woollam for their Ellipsometry Instruments:
J A Woollam are the world's leading supplier of high quality Spectroscopic Ellipsometers and Scientific Solutions are happy to announce the finalisation of a distribution agreement covering these products. J A Woollam Ellipsometers are used for examining the surfaces of thin films as well as liquid surfaces, from UV to IR wavelengths. 19th June, 2006: Scientific Solutions releases MISCO Pharmaceutical Refractometer:
Scientific Solutions has released the outstanding AMAX 30 benchtop refractometer for all clients, but focussing on the Pharmacetical market. This is a wonderfully capable instrument, using an inbuilt WindowsCE interface, is compliant with CFR21 Part 11. It has extensive detailed history of measurments and calibration, five figure resolution and is the ONLY FDA 21 Para 11 compliant pharmaceutical system available with Peltier temperature control of the Window, Optics AND Light Source. 21st February, 2006: Scientific Solutions announces distribution agreement with Gamry Instruments:
Scientific Solutions are happy to announce the completion of a distribution agreement with Gamry Instruments, manufacturers of high quality Electrochemistry products including Potentiostat, Galvanostat, ZRA and other products including a Fuel Cell Monitor. The instruments are typically used for research and monitoring of parameters in Batteries, Fuel Cells, Paints and Coatings, Corrosion and Physical Electrochemistry. 13th October, 2005 Scientific Solutions appointed distributor of CAL2k Bomb Calorimeters.
Scientific Solutions is now able to supply the high quality Bomb Calorimeters from CAL2k. The instruments are used to determine calorific values of products in several industries, including coal, food and pharmaceuticals.
